Dear Sir:
We want to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to drive a 32-foot motorhome from Forest City, Iowa to Anchorage, Alaska. We chose the 18-day trip and began the trip thinking we had ample time to see and do all that we wanted to. However, the trip was so spectacular that it flew by and before we knew it, we were at the airport in Anchorage waiting to board to fly home.
This was our second trip to Alaska with one of your motorhomes and this time we chose to drive the highway through the Canadian Rockies. The mountians are larger than imagined and absolutely spectacular. The scenery was beautiful and we saw many wild animals, including a grizzly close to the road.
Some of the highlights included Lake Bennett, the Ice Fields (road the tram out to the ice fields and walked on the ice), Dawson City, Anchorage, Russian Orthodox Church, and the Kenai Peninsula. The many museums visited and other attractions seen are too numerous to mention.
We thank you for the opportunity to drive your mothrome to Anchorage. We are hopeful that in the future we may once again travel to Alaska in one of your motorhomes.

Dear Mr. Bennett:
We had to write to relate our experience with the Great Alaskan Holidays Spring Adventure. As you know, we rented from you before, but it was for a beautiful trip in Alaska. However, taking the RV from Forest City, IA to Anchorage, AK was just unbelievable! The orientation, and the personal touch you gave it by your presence and participation, was excellent. As usual, your personnel acted as if we were long-time friends, dealing with everyone with kindness - even though everyone was on the edge of their seats and rearing to go!
We had a tremendous time! When we first looked at the maps during preparation and noticed the distance we would travel, I said, "That's over 4,000 miles!" But, even before we arrived back home, we were already talking about what route we'd take when we do it again. Words cannot really express how much we enjoyed ourselves. All we can say is thanks for the opportunity of taking that trip.

We are home and unpacked from one of the best vacations in our lifetime! Your Spring Adventure Package was delightful - from start to finish! We did so many things on the incredible drive.
The mountains, hotsprings, canyons, waterfalls, glaciers, and wildlife amazed us - we saw 10 bears in the wild. We saw countless moose, elk, caribou, sheep, goats, buffalo - we even saw porcupines!!! We heard wolves howling at night. That, coupled with seeing some of the most phenomenal scenery in the world at our leisure - well, what more could you ask?
The RV rolling up the Al-Can Highway, mile after mile, scenery constantly changing, stopping and playing when we wanted, even sleeping wherever we wanted - what could have been sweeter? We look forward to doing your Spring Adventure again, and again, and again!

Dear Great Alaskan Holidays,
My wife and I had the great honor and extreme pleasure of picking up a brand new 32 foot Winnebago motorhome in Forest City, Iowa as our magic carpet ride to Anchorage, Alaska. We had a most wonderful, superlative experience with Great Alaskan Holidays and with the Winnebago. We spent more than 2 weeks on the road and over 4,000 miles in a brand new vehicle, and had no problems.
What is pushing us to write this letter is not to praise the motorhome, nor the wonderful journey itself, but our desire to thank you and your organization and all of the people that work with you in providing such exceptional service. Your staff, top to bottom, always made us feel that we were with friends. This goes way beyond being treated as a customer. It was extremely important that our new friends from Great Alaskan Holidays really did just what their brochures said. They made sure that our motorhome was completely outfitted with everything we needed for the trip - pots, pans sheets, pillow cases, blankets, soap and paper towels. It was all there, and it was all clean and of the finest quality. We were amazed at the quality and the completeness of the outfitting. Your people exceeded the promise.
As the hundreds of Great Alaskan Holidays' Winnebagos left Forest City, each was on its own itinerary. Each time an impromptu meeting occurred with another of our fellow travelers from Forest City, we knew we were among friends, many of whom are still friends today. It was also comforting to know that somewhere behind us were a couple of Great Alaskan Holidays people, just in case we had a problem.
Glorious days and many miles later, the time came to turn in our magic carpet at Great Alaskan Holidays. This became one of the high points of the journey, as the folks there made the transition so easy for us. They welcomed us to Anchorage, and they meant it. They would not let us do anything. They did the check-in, in such a terrific, professional, and friendly way. The financial arrangements were all done correctly, with no surprises or sudden hidden charges. The security deposit refund was quickly and correctly processed.
Great Alaskan Holidays, you really know your stuff. Thank you to your organization, and to all of the people that work with you in providing such exceptional service and quality motorhomes.

To Everyone at Great Alaskan Holidays!
My husband, Carey, my parents, Flo & Bob, and I want to thank everyone at Great Alaskan Holidays for helping us make our recent Spring Adventure Package the vacation of a lifetime. From the time we left Florida on May 6 for Iowa, to 4 weeks later when we turned in the motorhome in Anchorage, June 2, every aspect of the journey was just fantastic. We saw it all: moose, deer, elk, buffalo, swans, Stellar's Jay, Canadian Jays, Canada Geese, a large variety of ducks and birds, rabbits, a wolf, porcupines, squirrels, chipmunks, black bears and more black bears, a couple of grizzlies; when we went to Juneau we saw whales, harbor seals, sea lions, and porpoise.
The motorhome was a pleasure to ride in and live in. My husband liked driving it so much he did 100% of the driving. Everything about the motorhome was very comfortable - we hated to give it up!
Although my parents, (80 and 85 respectively) are world travelers, they had never traveled west of the Mississippi. They were just amazed at the wonders our country offers, as well as the beauty of Canada. This truly was an adventure for my parents and one that my husband and I were glad they could enjoy and share with us.
Thanks again to all of you who put such hard work and effort into making this a seamless experience. My dad is ready to head back to Alaska in a couple of years for another adventure, so hopefully, we'll see you once again, making it our third time renting from you.......we wouldn't even consider renting from anyone else.
